Did you know the Bible is actually your guidebook? It’s true. It’s like the manufacturer’s handbook you receive when you purchase a new car or appliance. A large part of God’s plan for your life is outlined within its pages. And no matter what you may be going through today, you can always trust its instructions and rely upon its promises.
However, although the Bible is a rich source of God’s wisdom and guidance, it is also much more than that. It is His personal love letter to His sons and daughters.
You see, when you first decided to become a follower of Jesus Christ, you were made an adopted son or daughter in the family of God. You’re now an heir of His Kingdom, with countless promises about the blessings and breakthroughs
He wants to provide in your life.
Never forget that God’s Word is not just a legal document, but a loving description of the kind of covenant relationship you’re meant to have with your Lord and Savior. Yes, the Bible lists some things you should or shouldn’t do, but everything is in the context of the love relationship your Heavenly Father wants to have with you. He gives you His instructions because He knows what is best for you and wants you to have a blessed life!
Wouldn’t it be sad if someone wrote you a love letter, but you never took the time to read it? In the same way, make sure you don’t neglect reading God’s love letter to you. It will change your life.
