Where are the miracles of today?
“Why don’t we see them,” people say.
Like when the angel shut the Lion’s mouth in his den,
and Daniel lived even though betrayed by men.
Like the plagues God sent to set the Israelites free.
What about the big miracles, like the parting of the Red Sea?
Remember the manna that appeared like dew on the ground,
and the quail that fell from the sky, feeding everyone around?
Remember the hailstones the Lord threw at the Amorites who died?
And when the sun stood still amid the enemy’s demise?
“We don’t see miracles anymore,” people say.
Well, I can name a bunch that are happening today!
I once was lost, but now I’m found!
The Lord puts my feet on solid ground.
I once was blind, and now I see.
Over my enemies, I have victory.
You must understand this miracle for me!
It started when Jesus died at Calvary.
He washed away my sins and set me free!
Freedom from sin, a gift of His love and mercy.
This wretched soul He clothed in righteousness.
And all I did was believe and confess.
The miracle of the Holy Spirit of God in me,
exceeds any miracle that could ever be!
