In the natural, we utilize headlights, streetlights, lamps, fireplaces, flashlights, and even huge floodlights. A sense of security and confidence comes as we employ these visual enhancements. Why? It’s because we can clearly see – the road ahead, the print of our book, or the oncoming obstacles.
The Wrestle for Identity
As we search for our God-given identity, we often must surrender the identities that we learned wrong, identities we learned from well-meaning but imperfect people, even family and friends. In this struggle, we must remember that it isn’t God against us, it’s God for us!
