In spring, creation awakens from the dead of winter. Trees, once barren, burst into fragrant bloom, with beautiful green leaves shouting New life!
In the summer, there is a heaviness of heat and humidity. Yet, lots of family activity, cookouts and sun.
In Autumn, trees, in a beautiful array of color; will soon let go, and die.
While winter brings us desolate trees and yellow grass…and the stillness of a world gone to sleep.
What season are you in today? Are you headed into a barren winter or a fruitful spring? Are you under a heavy burden from the cares of life? Are you facing hopeless situations, inevitable death of a loved one or unending addiction? Are you simply tired, exhausted, cold and indifferent?
Regardless of the season you may find yourself, be reminded our Hope is in Jesus and the one who does all things well. His word is full of promises to meet our every need if we would look to Him and trust Him to work in our life. Oh how He loves you and Me! His ways are better than ours.
To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. He hath made everything beautiful in his time!
Ecclesiastes 3:1-2,4,6,8 you go.
