There are many spiritual complainers out there.
They complain about the lack of outreach to those in need. They complain about the inability of fellow church members to connect and truly be there for one another. They even complain about the inauthenticity of the pastors or the fact they feel overlooked because no one greeted them or prayed for them.
These complaints spring from individuals who reflect the anger and bitterness of the world. They’re rooted in the soul of man which is innately dissatisfied with life. The truth is, we’re all complainers on some level. The question is, how do we become the church that this world so desperately needs? We become the people of God who reflect Christ – not the world!
If you are not satisfied or are disappointed with your church, could it be that the role you play is not big enough? Stop waiting for someone else to be the hero and instead become the reflection of the Hero who showered us with His grace and mercy. YOU be the one who connects, the one who greets, the one who shows up, the one who prays and is long-suffering. You be the leader who cares!
The world and the church is waiting on YOU!
