I am so humbled and thankful to serve as Pastor of Christ Fellowship. It is exciting to see blessing come to this body of believers. God is faithful and His Spirit dwells where there is unity.
1 Peter 2:9 declares “He has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.” The darkness here refers to ignorance. The light refers to knowledge. Ignorance is not stupidity. It simply means you do not have knowledge in a particular area. So He has called us out of ignorance into knowledge…His knowledge.
Jude 1:6 and Ephesians 6:12 establish that Satan and his demons have been given authority by God to operate in the realm of darkness.
When you do not have knowledge about a particular thing, you are ignorant in that area and Satan has been given authority by God to operate in that realm. When you flip on a light switch, you don’t see light and darkness fighting…light makes the darkness LEAVE!! Stop allowing the enemy to beat you up in areas of ignorance (darkness) when God’s word will illuminate that area of your life with His light (knowledge)! Darkness must leave!
I am asking God to uncover areas of darkness in our lives that have plagued us for far too long. It’s time for the light! God does not want His children to grope around in the darkness. Jesus is the light OF the world and the believer (YOU) are a light IN this world!
