An Angelic choir dispels the inky darkness and fills the night with music
Booming thunder sings its shuddering song to God
Jagged lightning that slashes the sky proclaims power to Him who sits on the throne
LET HEAVEN AND NATURE SING
The rainbow that crests the horizon lifts its promise to the Promise Keeper
Clouds become heavy with His abundance and burst into showering adoration
The brilliance of the stars is a symphony of fire and light
LET HEAVEN AND NATURE SING
Waves crash their praise to Him who speaks peace to their turbulence
Brooks babble honor to the Water of Life
The rustle of leaves in the summer trees whisper His majestic Name
LET HEAVEN AND NATURE SING
A cricket’s night song croons his distinctive overture of worship to the Supreme Listener
His birth is the depth of His humility
He descends to our world to become imprisoned in the fragility of flesh
The lips that spoke creation into tangibility suckle a human breast
LET HEAVEN AND NATURE SING
The fingers that propelled galaxies into orbit curl around His mother’s small finger
The hands that extended over the primordial, chaotic abyss to fashion order and life are tucked inside a soft sheath, tiny and innocent
The eyes of timeless sight from the foundations of earth now close in infant slumber
The power of the triune God-Head lay dormant in a helpless newborn
This was God’s longest reach …………………..to where we are
LET HEAVEN AND NATURE SING
