I Cry Jesus

We listen to the cries of the world around us; cries of injustice, equality – “I want what matters to me.” We hear the cries of the broken, the wounded, and families who live in fear of sending their children to school, for fear of the unknown.

We the Church, as the body of Christ, are exhorted to share Jesus. The world needs Jesus. I need Jesus
and His Word to face whatever today or tomorrow may bring. I’m so thankful when he left this world with the promise of return one day, He left us His Holy Spirit as our Comforter and Guide. When we take the time to know who Jesus really is, we finally find LIFE.

I don’t know about you, but my days are so much better when I face them with Jesus. His Word is a light unto my path, and though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. He is with me!

Psalm 23 has been a personal love letter to me this year as I have meditated on the depth of each promise in each verse. James proclaims the words from our Father: Draw nigh to me and I will draw nigh to you. It is so very true. If we will steal away from the cares of this world and read His Word, drawing near to God, we will realize a life of walking with Jesus daily is a sweet life filled with more goodness, love, joy and peace that we could ever imagine.

EVEN in the midst of the storms of life, I cry JESUS.
