War Room Review

Let me start my review of the movie War Room by saying my colleagues at Green Branch Construction thought so highly of the movie that they bought my wife, Maggie, and I tickets, popcorn and drinks. So, a few weeks ago, we dropped the kids off at grandma and grandpa’s and went to a 6:45p showing at Sun Valley Theater.

Filmed right here in Charlotte, the movie begins with a real estate agent who meets a lively, older woman to help sell her home – a home filled with memories. It turns out to be a GOD appointed meeting that challenges the agent to dig into her faith like never before. Watch how prayer and renewed devotion to GOD – turn this troubled family’s life around.

Maggie and I were inspired – to love each other with more grace and to pray for one another more. We laughed. We cried. We even shouted. We were entertained. Most of all, we were reawakened to the power of prayer in our world – and in our marriage.

If you’re a believer, you should definitely go see this film. You’ll experience the amazing power of grace and forgiveness over and over again in this well written story. You might even be moved to create your very own war room.
