Courts of Praise

Psalms 100 really sums it up for all of us. If God’s children could use any direction; we can find it in that chapter. I would encourage everyone to read this entire chapter today. In verse 4 I quote “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise! Give thanks to Him; bless his name.” A couple of weeks ago during worship we were singing “Better Is One Day.” I have been singing this song for years, but this time was different. As we were singing, I heard the Lord speak to me. He said, “You never have to leave my courts.” As I really thought about that, I was overwhelmed with joy. In His courts there is love, joy, life, abundance, provision, healing and so much more. I got on my knees and thanked the Lord for speaking to me. I can be in God’s courts all day. While cooking in my kitchen, or running errands in my car. Everywhere I go I can make it His courts. Change the environment this week. While you are at work or cooking dinner for your family, turn on some worship music and invite Him in. Instead of catching up on a conversation while driving to your next stop, invite Holy Spirit to have a conversation with you. I know this will change your life!! It has mine for sure!
