I recently read NASA discovered that the universe holds ten times the amount of galaxies than they originally thought. I texted the news to my nephew who loves science. This was his response:

“The heavens declare the glory of God: the skies proclaim His majesty.”

Yesterday, I received some life-altering news. I was tempted to dwell in the bad news. Then, I was reminded of the galaxies. I was surprised when I learned of NASA’s discovery. You know who wasn’t surprised? The creator of the galaxies. You know why the heavens declare and skies proclaim? Because they reflect their creator.

God also created me. And my bad report, my situation, is no surprise to the One who created me. He calls me by name. He knows the number of hairs on my head. He knows every one of my days. I will declare the Glory of God and I will proclaim his majesty! I will walk in victory and will not dwell in the shadow of death. Be encouraged today, whatever your circumstance. Proclaim His goodness and His mercy. Don’t let the stars do all the proclaiming of Gods glory. Join the worship!
