The Prayer Loft
At Christ Fellowship
The Prayer Loft is a place for the entire community to escape the fray and surrender. Commune with God. Turn off the noise. Find Peace. It’s a place where you come to lay everything down before the Father.
Time with God, with friends, with community and ministry leaders, with family- to pray, to worship, to refresh, recalibrate, recharge, release.
We’ve created different stations where you can get alone with God. Explore each station below!
The Prayer Loft is open every Wednesday night during our regular Wednesday night prayer service and during worship nights and special events.
Prayer Loft Stations
Seven stations; Seven unique experiences
Check out photos and descriptions of each station below!
Creativity
God, the Creator, created you in His image. You, then, have the ability to create as well. The Prayer Loft is a place where you can journal, draw, paint, chalk… Worship God with your creativity.
Forgiveness
This station is dedicated to letting go and to receiving. In the most sacrificial act of all time, Jesus hung on a tree so that we could have healing and forgiveness. This station includes a small tree, paper and ribbon. You may write down the things for which you want to receive forgiveness or write down the unforgiveness you have for yourself and others. Hang it on the tree as a symbol of what Jesus did so that all of mankind could experience true forgiveness.
Communion
Commune with God. Take Holy Communion. Remember all that Jesus gave for you.
ThanksGiving
Gratitude paves the way for praise. Once we’ve forgiven, have been forgiven and communed with God, our hearts are filled with thanksgiving. This booth allows you to pour your gratitude out on paper, on rocks, in thank you letters to others and to God. Come and be thankful for every good thing.
Surrender
Pull the curtain, lay at the foot of the cross and release all your burdens. This is a sacred place. A place where you can bare your heart, surrendering all to the God who can handle it.
Orphans
In this station, we defend orphans, by name, through prayer. It’s where we pray for homes and families who foster and adopt. It’s where we ask God to stir the hearts of His people to obey his command to care for the orphan.
The Lost Will Be Found
It is here where we pray for souls, prodigals and unbelievers. Write down the first names of those you are praying for. Visitors to the Prayer Loft will agree with you, speaking their names to the Father.
